Matthew Thierren, a very special client, was given some extra love from Pipella Law this past Christmas. Matthew attended the annual Spinal Cord Injury Alberta Christmas party. The year-end celebration is held annually at the Carriage House Inn.
The work of the organization was especially meaningful in Matthew’s life. Spinal Cord Injury Alberta seeks to empower people with spinal cord injuries and other physical disabilities to achieve independence and full community participation.
SCI Alberta embraces the approach that there is more than one way to reach their vision. The organization helps people in the community by assisting children or adults with recent spinal cord injuries, lobbying for better public transportation, or helping to create a more inclusive community.
