On October 13, 2022, the Jubilee Auditorium in Calgary was packed with music lovers who came to see the multiple Grammy and Juno award-winning singer-songwriter, Sarah McLachlan, who performed in support of the Owen Hart Foundation (OHF). The foundation, which has a 23-year history of providing scholarships, housing, food drives, animal/environmental conservation, and global foreign aid, was honoured to have McLachlan back for her second appearance.
The concert was a huge success, selling out the venue; and the VIP reception following the show, was a great opportunity for sponsors and guests to meet with Sarah and learn more about the OHF’s mission. The VIP reception was sponsored by many companies including Pipella Law, and the Pipella sisters, Kimber Pipella and Tara D. Pipella, K.C., were honoured to be a part of such a memorable night and to support such a worthwhile cause.
Throughout its history, the OHF has featured many notable performers, including Robin Williams, Bob Newhart, Elvis Costello, Jerry Seinfeld, and others, but McLachlan’s performance was a standout. Her admiration for the foundation was evident, and her fans were thrilled to see her perform supporting such a worthy cause.
Pipella Law is proud to support the OHF and its mission to make a difference in the lives of those in need. The Owen Hart Foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of people and communities, and Pipella Law is honoured to be a part of this important work. The sisters express their gratitude to Sarah McLachlan, all the sponsors, and guests who attended the reception, and look forward to supporting the OHF in years to come.
