Pipella Law & SABIS a Par-fect Match at the McKinley Masters/ARBI Charity Classic

The 5th Annual McKinley Masters/ARBI Charity Classic saw dozens of golfers hit the links on July 25th, for a day of fun and fundraising. The Priddis Greens Golf and Country Club played host as golfers enjoyed the phenomenal weather and good-natured competition, with the tournament raising over $100,000 for the Association for the Rehabilitation of the Brain Injured (ARBI).

In addition to sponsoring the tournament, Pipella Law was proud to have members from the Southern Alberta Brain Injury Society (SABIS) play on its behalf.

McKinley Masters/ARBI Charity Classic: Swinging for Greatness

Founded in 2011, the McKinley Masters/ARBI Charity Classic (primarily sponsored by celebrated Calgary builders, McKinley Masters), was created solely to raise funds and awareness for ARBI. Since the tournament’s inception, hundreds of thousands of dollars have been raised to assist the rehabilitation of individuals that have survived severe brain injury, or stroke.

Because nearly half of ARBI’s annual budget comes from fundraising, the success of this tournament was vital to ensuring ARBI can continue serving Albertans recovering from brain trauma.

SABIS Puts Survivors in the Winner’s Circle

SABIS is an organization that “provides support, coordination of services and education to survivors of acquired brain injury (ABI) and their families living in the Calgary Region.” ABI impacts thousands of Albertans every year, and is the leading cause of disability in 18-40 year olds, but SABIS believes that adult survivors of ABI deserve the dignity of living as independently as possible.

Pipella Law has worked closely with SABIS over the years, and we are overjoyed that the organization was able to play on our behalf in the competition.

Pipella Law: Proud to Support SABIS and the McKinley Masters/ARBI Charity Classic

Just as ARBI and SABIS strive to rehabilitate Albertans with severe brain injuries, Pipella Law works to ensure that those injured by the negligence, or actions of others, are financially compensated.

Strong community support, combined with financial security, eases the trauma of debilitating injuries and enables those afflicted, to live life on their own terms.

As tireless advocates for those living with neurological injuries both in, and out of, the courtroom, Pipella Law is proud to have supported the McKinley Masters/ARBI Charity Classic.
