The 6th Annual McKinley Masters/Association for the Rehabilitation of the Brain Injured (ARBI), Charity Classic saw dozens of golfers hit the links on July 25th for a day of fun and fundraising. The Priddis Greens Golf and Country Club played host as golfers enjoyed the phenomenal weather and good-natured competition.
In addition to acting as one of the sponsors at the tournament, Pipella Law was proud to have members from Spinal Cord Injury Alberta (SCI AB), play on its behalf.
McKinley Masters/ARBI Charity Classic: A Hole in One
Founded in 2011, the McKinley Masters/ARBI Charity Classic (primarily sponsored by celebrated Calgary builders, McKinley Masters), was created solely to raise funds and awareness for ARBI. Since the tournament’s inception, more than $750,000 has been raised to assist the rehabilitation of individuals whom have survived severe brain trauma.
Because nearly half of ARBI’s annual budget comes from fundraising, the success of this tournament is vital to ensuring that ARBI can continue serving Albertans most in need of their services.
SCI Alberta Puts Survivors in the Winner’s Circle
SCI Alberta is an organization that “empower[s] persons with spinal cord injuries and other physical disabilities to achieve independence and full community participation.”
